is a pro-climate, energy-efficient wooden house guaranteeing living in harmony with nature, inspired by the style and living standards of Sweden. It’s not just a building – it’s an answer to climate challenges and a place for those who wish to feel as if they’re in Scandinavia without leaving Poland.
In harmony with nature
By choosing the Dalarna Hus design, you’re investing not only in your immediate comfort but also in the future of our planet. Guided by the ambition to achieve the smallest possible carbon footprint, the house’s walls are constructed almost entirely of wood – the wooden cladding, structural framework, and wood fibre insulation contribute to a pleasant and healthy indoor microclimate. The exterior features charred Scandinavian spruce in various colours, adding a unique character and ensuring durability. The use of concrete in the construction has been reduced to the bare minimum – the house is set on a 20-centimetre foundation slab, which is the only part of the structure made from this material.
A Home for Your Family
The Dalarna Hus is initially designed for a family of four, but we are flexible – we can tailor the design to meet your individual needs. Thanks to the open floor plan, we are capable of adjusting the layout of the partition walls.
In the standard version, the house comprises 3 bedrooms, a study, 2 bathrooms, a utility room, an entrance hall, and an open space for the kitchen, living room, and dining area.
The Dalarna Hus is a design that meets the requirements for building a house under a simplified procedure, known as “permitted development”.
